The FEAM European Biomedical Policy Forum in partnership with the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE) are holding an online event on “COVID-19 and One Health: can we do better?” on Wednesday, 8 July from 11.00 to 12.30 CEST.

The COVID-19 outbreak is an ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease of zoonotic origin caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‑CoV‑2). The outbreak was firstly identified in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 and there have been millions of reported cases in people in over 187 countries. As a result of this crisis, the One Health approach, with emphasis on the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration to tackle such pandemic crisis, is more important than ever. One Planet, One Health, One Future.

In this context, the webinar will provide to the participants the opportunity to hear from high level experts about the contributions and the impact of an integrative approach in finding solutions for a better, more efficient and faster way out of the COVID-19 crisis.

There are more details here about the programme for the event and more information is available on the FEAM and FVE dedicated webpages.
