HPAI Developments: Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza outbreaks continue across Europe with spillovers into mammals. A related FVE webinar is scheduled for 27 February to address risks and prevention.

Violence Against Official Veterinarians: The group commemorated Karel Van Noppen’s legacy and discussed ongoing threats to veterinary inspectors. Recent attacks in Italy, Norway, and Ireland underline the need for public awareness and institutional zero-tolerance policies.
