EASVO - State Veterinary Officers

The EASVO Young Network met remotely on 8 November 2024, with four participants and continued encouragement for broader peer engagement.
The meeting focused on the EUROPEAN REFERENCE CENTRE FOR ANIMAL WELFARE (EURCAW) initiative to build a comprehensive database of animal welfare training across EU member states.
Members were invited to contribute national training data by 30 November and attend upcoming EURCAW webinars on calf housing and rabbit stunning.
The Young Network’s work will be presented at the EASVO General Assembly on 28 November, covering key issues like TRACES, OV training, and disease control.
The next meeting is scheduled for 6 December 2024.
