As a short-term objective established during meetings among colleagues, the Animal Health subgroup of the FNOVI Bee Working Group has developed a questionnaire on the application of the Animal Health Law and the I&R system in the beekeeping sector. The aim is to collect data on the implementation and functioning of the new animal health legislation at the European level, thus enabling comparison with other Member States regarding the implementation of the AHL and subsequent delegated and implementing acts.
Therefore, the questionnaire is being disseminated both to representatives of the European Union Member State Reference Laboratories and to the EU RL for Bee Health ( ANSES ), and to colleagues from the Federation of European Veterinarians (FVE) and the EASVO section , in order to gather harmonized information on the application of the regulations, surveillance systems, and management approaches.
The data collected will be analyzed to provide a comprehensive overview of the current situation and will contribute to the drafting of a report to be shared with the Beekeeping Working Group.
