On 25 April, the FVE Board met in Brussels together with the Section Presidents, including EASVO President Mark McCarthy, for a fruitful meeting. The agenda of the General Assembly in Heraklion was discussed together with the papers that will go for adoption, namely a request for full membership from Armenia, transparency around voting, the revised telemedicine position, a draft position on training and education and the financial documents. Three interactive sessions will also be held, namely around a toolbox for veterinary workplaces, ‘antibiotic Free: reality or scam’ and VetVision2040, envisioning the future landscape of veterinary medicine.  Further discussions also encompassed the diligent efforts undertaken by various working groups and the overarching theme of transparency within the veterinary profession was further elaborated.
