The Maltese Veterinary Association hosted an excellent General Assembly, genuinely dedicated to One Health.  EASVO President Jane R. Clark joined the panel discussion on moving from curative to preventive care: ensuring regular veterinary visits for all operators, calling upon the profession to look for using existing data generated by the systems in the different countries, e.g. private assurance schemes, rather than reinventing a new system to achieve shared outcomes.

‘We need to be sustainable, that is to say to build on the systems we already have in place and to improve integration and cooperation’. she said.

HERE is the FVE’s report of the GA.

During the meeting, the FVE position paper on coccidia control in poultry was adopted.
