The 91st General Session of the World Assembly of Delegates took place on
Sunday, 26 to Thursday, 30 May 2024 at the Maison de La Chimie in Paris, France.
The 2024 Session held a special significance as WOAH marks its 100th anniversary.

- Five countries obtained official recognition for their animal health status:
- Azerbaijan was declared free of peste des petits ruminants (PPR);
- Czech Republic and Norway achieved free status for contagious bovine pleuropneumonia (CBPP);
- Egypt was recognised as free from African horse sickness (AHS);
- Liechtenstein was declared free of foot and mouth disease (FMD) without practising vaccination.
EASVO Secretary General Ole-Herman Tronerud received the diploma confirming the disease-free status for CBPP (Contagious bovine pleuropneumonia) on behalf of Norway.
